About Dr. Rashid Mansoor
Dr. Rashid Mansoor is a distinguished expert in Islamic finance with extensive experience in academia, Shariah consultancy, and corporate training. He holds a PhD in Islamic Finance from INCEIF University, Malaysia, where his research focused on the critical role of financial inclusion and Islamic finance in mitigating income inequality post-crisis. His academic credentials include an MSc in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and comprehensive training in Shariah studies. Additionally, he is a Certified Shariah Advisor and Auditor (CSAA) from AAOIFI, Bahrain.
Throughout his career, Dr. Rashid has significantly contributed to the development of Shariah-compliant financial products. As the Chief Advisor for Islamic Digital Finance at Walee Financial Services, he will play a pivotal role in launching innovative digital finance solutions that adhere to Islamic principles.

Dr. Rashid’s expertise spans product development, Shariah compliance, and consultancy, having collaborated with banks, non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), social welfare organizations, and leading names in the construction industry. His academic background includes serving as an Assistant Professor of Islamic Finance at Riphah International University, where he taught courses in Islamic banking, economics, and finance.
